The Lady Behind the Lens
CREATED TO CREATE
I was born and raised on the West Coast in Northern California! However, now, having been in Nashville for over half a decade, I feel like a true Nashvillian! I have always enjoyed to be on the road, and love all parts of the U.S. and LOVE to travel! I love Jesus and believe that it is the biggest blessing to get to capture the beauty He created and meet His children, as my job!!
I am a wife, dog mom, and friend! Family is everything to me, and my husband is my biggest supporter and encourages me every day to pursue my passion!
I have always been a creative person! Ever since I was little, I have been drawn to anything related to the arts. I have wanted to try everything: painting, sewing, fashion, choreographing dances, and always stealing my dad's camera to snap a picture!
Over time, I acquired a camera of my own and took pictures here and there, mainly keeping my passion for photography to myself. Until midway through college, I decided that no job I was studying for fulfilled me the way photography does.
I do not take this life for granted or the opportunity to capture it, and I hope to share this amazing thing with all of you!
MY MISSION
My mission is to capture raw, unfiltered moments that tell real stories. The most powerful images are not staged that make us human. Through a candid and unobtrusive approach, I strive to create timeless images that preserve authenticity and connection. Every click of the shutter reflects life as it is - beautiful, imperfect, and real.
I pride myself on being a visual storyteller who finds beauty in the minor details - the way light falls on a face, the wind in someone's hair, the quiet moments between the big ones. My work is more than just pictures; it is about preserving emotions and memories that last a lifetime. The world and its people are so beautiful and complex, and it is incredible to glimpse into the unique stories everyone has!
I strive to be a fly on the wall, an on-looker, or just a simple outside perspective to observe humans in their element displaying love.
Xoxo, Sophia
